looking for a cabin in the woods? secluded, can't see or hear any neighbors? this is it! located in the dixie national forest by navajo lake, built in 1967 part of the navajo lake summer homes; this cabin is approximately 970 square feet, loft; off the grid with a propane stove, oven, refrigerator, hot water tank, and lights. recently painted inside & outside, remodeled/expanded bathroom, new 40 gallon propane tank with a 20 pound backup tank, & fireplace with working insert for heat. gravity fed 1200 gallon water cistern (no need to haul water). forest service approved fire pit, almost 8 face-cord of wood cut & stacked, (unlimited supply all around). the road has been maintained well and there is parking next to the cabin for about 3 vehicles. land is approximately 1.1 acres. there is a bedroom downstairs and another room that we converted into a storage area; plus a loft upstairs loft with 2 full size beds, and a full size sofa. all together it can sleep 6 (7 if you use the full sofa). all the furniture will remain, as well as the pots, pans, utensils, linens, & curtains. plus 9 1/2 foot kayak included. it sits on the national forest land and this turns off many people, but the lease is good until dec 31, 2028; and for the last 50 years there has not been a hint of changing that. the annual forest fee is $1201, annual taxes $433.48, and annual water fee $80. this is a quiet, serene location, ready for you as soon as we get out our personal items. i have more pictures if you would like. please feel free to ask questions.
