Lush 6 acre tropical flower farm in the mountains of Mayagüez, with rustic little house. The farm is surrounded by a creek and has access to an artesian spring. It has the ruins of a Spanish colonial trapiche (sugar cane processing house). The farm has extensive flat areas planted with a variety of tropical flowers: ginger, heliconia, birds of paradise, exotic palms, assorted citrus trees, and foliage plants. Important note: The house and farm have been uninhabited since 2014 and suffered some damage from Hurricane Maria. The photos are from when we lived in it and showcase how beautiful this farm and house can be. Expect to need to make repairs and invest in cutting grass and grooming the property.
