We are an artist community in Hopatcong, New Jersey, with a unique and whimsically decorated and furnished house available for sublet. The musicians and artists who live in the other houses are cooperative and friendly. Ideal for two residents renting together who need their own separate spaces. The rate for the whole house is $2900 with all utilities included (heat, electricity, propane stoves, internet and basic TV services). Both sections of the house have their own kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and separate entrance. If only one section of the house is needed, we will consider subletting it for $1550/month. The upstairs space has a light and bright room which is nice for drawing and painting. The downstairs space is suitable for composing music or writing. There are also two storage rooms, great for storing extra equipment or belongings. The property has a small outdoor covered porch, a fenced front lawn and a back patio and yard. Off-street parking for 2 vehicles. Musicians may use our rehearsal studios (located in the other community houses) by special arrangement. If you need to sublet for a minimum of 3 months with a possible extension, this would be ideal. An application and one-month security deposit is required. Pets are negotiable, depending on the type, size and breed. In a quiet neighborhood 7 minutes off Routes 80, 46 and 10 and 12 minutes from major shopping areas. House is furnished with all utilities included. Renter is responsible for clearing snow from walkways in winter, keeping the grass cut in spring and summer, and leaf cleanup in the fall.
