In a little over an hour you can be in the Old Forge region of the Adirondacks. If you enjoy downhill skiing Snowridge is less than an hour away. The Winona State forest has over 900 acres for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, horseback riding, snowmobiling, biking riding etc. and is less than 30 mins away. The are 2 loft areas with full size beds (one loft leads to a small balcony for morning coffee/star gazing) and the main loft area has a queen size bed.
