Current owners have made major improvements within the past 4 years: new roof, high efficiency gas furnace & central air, water heater, well pump & excavated crawl space. Present owners also own and operate Wild Birds Unlimited in Bloomington. They have established a bluebird trail with nesting pairs of bluebirds each year. They have many varieties of birds coming to feed over the winter, including pileated woodpeckers! There is a 12 X 24 wood deck at the back of the house (on the east) that is perfect for observing the birds. The covered front porch is 9 X 24. The 500 square foot garage has its own woodstove. There owners have used it as a pottery studio; the previous owners used it to repair cars. The darkroom used to be a laundry room.
