The basement is nicely finished and has quite a lot of comfortable and useful lounging space as well as separate storage space and a laundry room with hook-ups for washer and electric dryer. There is also on the lower floor a good-sized finished bonus room. The garage has an inside door to enter the house from the garage. The basement has a door opening onto the back yard. This house was built around 1982 and was designed as an electric heat house. Code required then and now a significant upgrade for electric houses so it is quite well insulated. We had a gas line brought in from the street and installed a new gas furnace which is significantly less expensive to heat with than electric. Depending on individual taste one might still spot heat with the electric but we have been running the gas heating system for a few months now and even in 6-degree Fahrenheit weather it was fine. Our investment in this system should save the tenant significantly on heating costs. This house shares a driveway with the next door neighbor. There are 3 parking spaces on street level. the garage fits one more car, and there is space for another car outside of the garage without blocking the garage door. Please talk to us about pets. In most cases they are fine. Renter is responsible for gas and electric bills. Garbage service is required and the responsibility of the tenant.
