Davis and Thomas, WV are just a short drive and offer endless trails and recreation including but not limited to Black Water Falls, Douglas Falls, Elakala Falls, Dolly Sods, Canaan Valley, Spruce Knob, Seneca Creek recreation area, Seneca Rocks, Lost River State Park. Timberline Ski Resort and Canaan Valley Ski resort located a short drive in Davis, WV. Dolly Sods is know for it's unique terrain with wet bogs and cranberry fields, black water streams and interesting plant life most similar in appearance to the southern Canada area because of it's elevation.
