One of the oldest extant homes in Saint Paul, built in 1859 by William and Harriet Wakefield. The Wakefields purchased the land from Lyman Dayton, and had the block to themselves long after surrounding blocks had been parceled into small lots. Built in the Italianate style, with 10 foot ceilings and beautiful hardwood floors.
