So I want to share something. In the beginning of 2020 we purchased a campground in the beautiful mountains of South western North Carolina. It has a beautiful pristine certified trout creek on it and the back of the Land adjoins the national forrest. Its was in our minds a miracle. The list of things to do has been very long. At this point we realize that the list is to long for us.
We cleared the land along with help from my wonderful neighbor. We fixed underground water line with thanks to many donations from all you wonderful people in facebook land. Really there have been tons of other improvements. And at this point we have to throw in the towel. We thought God was gonna send someone here to do life with and help with what will be a never ending list of things to do. Infact he did send a small family for a brief time for which I am greatful to them. I am truly humbled and thankful. I have come to the realization that the scope of this project and the financial burden it is in its present condition is more than we can bare. We have taken on somewhere in the neighborhood of 40,000 dollars in debt there are still many things that need to be done. However with covid hopefully comming to a close and festivals comming back around I must dedicate more time to that as that is our bread and butter. So it is with a hard heart that we are going to sell the campground and it can become someone else's vision. This saddens me deeply. But it is more than we can bare for multiple personal reasons including we lost a baby here through a miscarriage Thats just one thing I don't really want to go into our other difficulties. Just know that it is beautiful here, like smokey mountain National Park beautiful. And with the correct financial backing and stamina this could be a wonderful money maker...or even a beautiful family compound. The possibilities are endless. Thank you tusquittee creek. Thank you God for this opportunity we pray that you will quickly close this door and open a simpler one for us.
Wanted to make mention that there are 5 genuine Log Cabins ranging in size from 12x12 to 22x22, there is a bath house, a 1600 square foot Main house, 15 rv spaces, a space for propane sales, a stage, 4 spots primed for glamping tent cabins, numerous spaces to pitch a tent, and two sheds. Everything is in various stages of remodel and repair. But the opportunity is real.
It all sits on the most beautiful 11.6 acre.in all of clay county North Carolina(my opinion) . after making all repairs there will still be equity to be had.
