Jaguar stadium, Jax Municipal Baseball Grounds, Veteran's Memorial Arena are all 12 miles north. Carriage Club, a senior community with condos, apartments and assisted living is a 5 minute walk (has its own store, post office, barber/beauty shop, library, bus system, private fishing pond). Laurel Oaks is part of a series of interconnected communities that is wooded and linked with private roads, which provides several miles of different routes for walking/running/biking or walking pets. Not a bad place to live for singles, families, retirees.
