    What's special

    The house was built in 2006, and is about 1750 sq ft upstairs and 1400 downstairs finished, the unfinished area has lots of storage. The land is almost exactly an acre. We back up to a corn field and on the East side of us (neighbors) have 19 acres with a pond and horses. On the west side a family is building a beautiful ($$) house on two lots (they bought both and are building on the opposite), so the lot next to you will remain open. The outdoor play set has rubber chips added to protect the little ones. We built a 12' x 12' shed, of which 8' x 4' of it is currently an insulated chicken coop w/ automatic open and closing chicken door. The 1st hot water heater is heated by the geothermal desuperheater, and the second hot water heater is electric, as necessary. The house has dual pane, double-hung windows and we added some interior storm windows for added efficiency. The last 12 month average for utilities is less than $107/month! November's bill was in the $90 range. Trash removal is like $15/month, and there is no natural gas on the property. There is a medium LP tank solely for the gas fireplace. ALL of the light bulbs in the house have LED bulbs, thus contributing to your low energy bills. Home has blown-in cellulose insulation (very deep) in the ceiling and walls, Pex pluming throughout, and 2x6 wall construction. The main floor features split bedrooms with the master suite on one end and the two other main floor bedrooms on the opposite end. The kitchen features TWO full-size refrigerator/freezers, one of which we purchased new two years ago and is the largest Kenmore Elite french door refrigerator they made. The kitchen also has a walk-in pantry. The guest full-bathroom doubles as the kids bathroom. There is a large office/toy room in the front of the great room, and has built in storage and a bench. The main floor features a mix of tile, 1/2" hand-scrapped cherry acacia hardwood, and StainMaster carpet (we put in new carpet on main floor and stairs when we moved in). The master has a large walk-in closet, dual sinks, a full two-person Jacuzzi tub, and a tiled shower w/ bench and storage. The basement is an open family room, a 3/4 bathroom with large tile shower, and two additional bedrooms. The basement is a "daylight" on the East side.The unfinished storage has large built-in wood shelves with plenty of space for your stuff. The home has a central vacuum, dual sump pump (with dual float) and battery backup, and an upgraded belt-drive garage door opener w/ battery backup. The reason we are moving is we purchased a lot and will be building a house in the Spring.
