    What's special

Extremely convenient location in a safe neighborhood. Neighbors in the building are quiet and friendly. Quiet block with a bunch of bars, restaurants and clubs about 5 minutes away by foot. The apt is renovated and spacious with high ceilings, in a good building with a good landlord. The two bedrooms are on opposite ends of the apt, which affords both roommates a good amount of privacy. The two bedrooms each have their own entrances from the interior building hallway and are separated inside the apt by a 16 x 7 ft. common room, then a short hallway, then a kitchen, then a bathroom off to the side and another short hallway. The apt is long with a lot of distance between the two bedrooms. The bedroom for rent is 14 x 7, with two windows and a closet, gets a lot of light, and is on the first floor facing the street. You'll have control over the heat in your room as well as the window A/C, if you want it (I'll need an additional $25/month for electric for July, Aug & Sept if you use the AC). The Super lives in the building next door and is very easy to reach. The common room is next to your bedroom and used mainly for storage. You can store some things in there if you want. I only go into the common room every once in a while to get something from the supply closet, so you'll have a lot of privacy, as I'm almost always on the other side of the apt. Extremely convenient. Apt is on same block as DeKalb L-stop. 2 minutes from your bedroom to subway platform. Union Square in 25 min. Bedford Ave in 12 min. Subway entrance and bus stops around the corner, so we have the best of both worlds an apt. on a quiet street while very close to the subway. Drycleaner/full-service laundromat, Key Food supermarket and U.S. Post Office all on our block. 24-hr health food supermarket 5 min walk. Restaurants, food trucks, 24 hr. deli/bodegas all 1 block away. I'm looking for someone who's looking to stay at least 1 year, considerate and responsible, clean, laid back, stable, pays rent on time, no drama, doesn't smoke, doesn't play loud or bassy music, and is good about cleaning up after themselves. I'm a friendly person and easy to get along with. This is basically just a quiet place to come home to and relax. No pets or smoking, please. You'll need first month's rent and security deposit to move in.
