Absolutely the most unique and wonderful apartment you will look at in the area. Ive owned this condo since it was converted 6 yrs ago and have been making improvements ever since. The roofdeck is private...all yours... and over 600 sq ft! Feels like being on your own private yacht retreat up in the treetops. Its solid mahogany and has planters filled with river birch trees. There is a chimnea cast of iron to enjoy fires... and a gass Weber Q BBQ grill. The light literally pours in from the sliding glass doors down the stairway through the cascading vines into your open living room space. The main apartment is floored in blonde bamboo. The bedrooms are newly refloored in dark ebony bamboo. The kitchen has fun FLOR tiles. All stainless appliances including a great Bosch dishwasher. This is a really fun kitchen to cook in. Lots of cabinet space and built in storage. Gorgeous Granite counters. Lighting is all recessed and super low wattage LED. I can arrange to leave a few pieces of furniture if you need. The entertainment center is a custom Hack job of ikea Lack shelving that fits the space perfectly...but you could choose a diff layout as well. There is a deeded storage unit in the basement that can be cleared out for your use. It has its own locked door entry and pallates and built in shelving to keep everything dry. You also have use of the gorgeous bluestone patio in the back which is landscaped with a ton of shady flowers and shrubs. It is under a very large oak tree and so one of the coolest places to be in the hot summer months. There is also a back deck that is private off the kitchen area to relax complete with a large steel planter from DWR and a climbing set of honeysuckle and wisteria. The apartment has a laundry closet in unit with stacking washer dryer. The bathroom was JUST renovated.... it is absolutely stunning with a glass enclosed shower with rainhead and lovely mosaic neutral gray pennytile. The vanity is a custom hand cast (by myself and my father) concrete counter and a solid wall of mirror that reflects all the light and makes for a stunning and soothing space. Both bedroom closets have been built out with custom ELFA shelving solutions for the maximum use of space. The master is slightly bigger at 12x 18ft and the smaller is 12x14. I can also leave the green accent mirorrs throughout the hallway stairs if requested. The Unit is on the top floor up in the treetops of a dead end 1 block long street jsut a block off of Centre st and only a 2 min walk from Whole Foods! The Haven. The beehan. Awesome Ethiopian. A brand new pet store. There is a great new italian style cafe. and countless other amazing restaurants within a 5-10min walk. You can walk to either the Heath st stop on the green line or the Stonybrook station stop on the orange line within 8 min easily. So communiting is NOT a problem. The pond is just a few blocks away and where I go for my morning/evening runs every day. Parking is free and on the street. If you need a permanent spot the owner across the street can arrange to rent you a space in her tiny lot. There is always plenty of parking within a block of the apartment regardless of time of day or weather. I am looking to rent to someone that will love and appreciate this space as much as I have for the past 6 + yrs. I am moving out west with my boyfriend but never want to 'give this place up'. My time frame for the move is between May and Sept. So I can be flexible on your move in time... ideally late may to late june.
