We are a 15 minute walk to George Brown. The neighbourhood is full of nearby great shopping, cafes, restaurants, galleries, parks- plus great walking to enjoy the unique flavour of Wychwood/Casa Loma. Your separate entrance door, with deadbolt electronic lock, is just past the front porch.TRANSPORTATION :For car owners, there is overnight parking by permit through the city, otherwise its free parking from 10AM to12AM. Bike rental is a two minute walk away, or bring your own. Take TTC from the front door (practically) to anywhere in the GTA; a two minute walk to the bus stop. Ten-ish minutes' walk to Christie Subway (or St Clair or Dupont).DECOR:A Canadian antique pine dresser graces the entrance hall, coat hooks and hat shelf provided. The living room has a cotton velour couch, coffee table and TV with stand for serious viewing, storage and cuddling. The couch can also accommodate overnight guests-it pulls out and sleeps two. The leather recliner, floor lamp and side table could become your dedicated workspace, or veg spot. The plaster work in this room gives a graceful sweep to the ceiling-an Edwardian feature.Look into the bedroom and find a queen bed with storage drawers, two armoires (one is antique) to put away your clothes plus a family heirloom antique dressing table (or another possible workspace?). All bedding is provided.There is a gas stove, microwave, full fridge/freezer and new cabinetry in the kitchen with all you will need for cooking meals. Coffee makers, kettle, hand blender, gadgets and conveniences await. Have breakfast at the cafe table for two, overlooking the grape arbor.Take a shower or bath in the deep soaker tub with rain shower head. Store your items in the cabinet; there's a storage closet, too. Four sets of towels are provided.The free laundry unit is in the back off the kitchen and downstairs.
