    Location, location! The beauty of this area is that it is secluded but so close to Downtown West Chester, shopping, train station, parks, and hiking and biking trails. The early part of the house was built in the Swedish log cabin style. Public records states that it was built in 1754 but the Township records say that it was built in the late 1700's. Enter into the central hall and to the right is the formal Living room with the walk in fireplace. There are doors leading out to the spacious side deck which overlooks the separate 6+ acre lot with large pond. The upper area of the 2.9 acre lot has old barn ruins. VACANT LOT: The 6 acre lot with the pond, across the road, has a trail to the north which can access an 8 acre lot that was sold to E. Bradford Township for open space. This lot connects to Paradise Valley Farm which is open to the public on the trail and goes down to Valley Creek. This lot is deed restricted for use for agriculture or a possible barn.
