    **Private furnished or unfurnished room available** Looking for an easygoing, friendly, drama-free person to share a very special home. I (female) own my own IT support business and record label, as well as having creative pursuits on the side. My other housemate (male) is a film score composer and woodworking artist. I have an indoor/outdoor cat who is very friendly. No other pets, please. The house we live in has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and the common areas (living/dining room) are fully furnished. We have a well-appointed kitchen and a dining room with table that adjusts to seat up to 10. I love to cook. The house has hardwood floors in great condition, laundry onsite, super-fast Internet, and is within walking distance of Whole Foods Market and a 20-minute walk from the beach. We live on a dead-end street among some very friendly family-oriented neighbors, somewhat close to the Santa Monica airport (so there is the sound of an occasional small airplane taking off). Two distinct back yard areas with succulent garden and patio seating. There is one bedroom available in the front of the house with a large closet along one wall, refinished hardwood floors, and lots of natural light. If furnished, the nightstands have power strips and USB chargers, and the table lamps are touch sensitive. Full size bed and frame. Desk has wireless charging. The dimensions are roughly 10.5' x 12'. There's also storage space in the garage and behind it, two separate outdoor areas, and parking for 2 cars in the driveway with more free parking on the street. We're respectful of other people's schedules with regards to noise, and ask the same. Our easygoing but responsive landlord requires a criminal background check. At the moment we have no TV service (we each use our computers and streaming services) but we do have a projector and movie screen and watch the occasional movie on the surround-sound system in the living room. TV service can be added to our cable account but the extra cost would be yours to absorb. If you would like to consider joining our household, I ask you to: 1) be prompt about paying your rent and bills; and 2) be responsible about things that affect all of us, like locking doors, turning off unused lights, and bringing guests over. Otherwise, it's pretty chill here. Thank you! Owner pays for gardening. Utilities included. I am the leaseholder on the property and will sublease the room to you. Open to 6 months, or longer if we get along well.
