Come live with us in our spacious and friendly Oakland home, located near the Oakland Zoo, and a few blocks from 580. The room has a woodsy view and lots of natural light, like much of the house. A video of the room is available upon request. (post last updated 1/12) Move-in date February 1st. If you are interested, please message me with some info about yourself and to schedule a time to meet us! The house is very spacious, with three common areas, a side balcony and huge deck. No two bedrooms share a wall. This room is on the third level, sharing a bathroom with one woman who is very polite and tidy. We haven't had issues with "too many cooks." There is a dishwasher and two refrigerators in the kitchen. There will be probably be one small dog living here by the time you move in. We can probably take another dog, but would just need to make sure they'd get along and are well-behaved. The area immediately outside your room is one of three common areas and currently is rarely used. We are open to ideas for modifying it or any of the common areas. The garage is occupied/unavailable, however we have 3 driveway spots that are "first come, first served." There is no backyard. Parking around the corner is safe and plentiful. Note the following. Any rules will be in the sublease. - We will ask for proof of gross income of at least 3x rent, and possibly a credit check - Bedroom dimensions are 12x11.5 ft (separate from closet, which is 2.5x7.75) and a 9ft ceiling. - 2 housemate and/or landlord references - No cats due to allergies - There are a couple of storage spaces available besides your closet/hall area. - No smoking inside house - Utilities are not included in the rent (~85/mo.) - Security deposit is 1000- The bedroom does not come furnished - Very large, shared storage closet available for you to use near the room - The house has central heating, but no cooling.
