December 1st there will be a private unfurnished room with a half bath and walk-in closet available in a 3 bed apt in a triplex tucked away from the road. Shared with one other person (me) and a four legged freeloader (Bandit). Rent is $1210, utilities are $87/month with a move-in deposit of $1210 and flexible lease. I love some creative chaos but I also love it when it's organized and relatively clean so there's an additional cost of $75 a month for triweekly cleaners. This is sort of a non-negotiable and I consider it mutual self-care and it keeps my goblin tendencies in check. The common areas are comfortably furnished so the lighter your load the better, although the toaster oven could use an upgrade ;). There's no dishwasher so wash ya damn dishes but hey, at least there's laundry on-site! Amazing little back yard with recently rebuilt raised beds so you better love to garden! Shared 3rd room for guests/office/whatever our hearts desire, inside bike rack, garage with tools, street parking, 10 min walk to MacArthur Bart, awesome neighbors, hot water and the occasional roll of toilet paper. I have an older dog and open to another but a proper introduction in a neutral area would be needed. The less interested and submissive your pooch is the better, he's just an aging insecure weenie that loves to wrestle but takes him a while to warm up to other dogs. What else... I'm female, midish 30's, production designer but now a full time student studying 3D modeling, CNC and fabrication. I love the garden, the garage, and all the projects in-between. Bonus points if you're into overlanding, motorcycles, tinkering, old-school punk, dark humor, a cohesive living environment, and a successful communicator of words. Standard application process via the landlord, $20 application fee or you can provide a recent report of your own from Experian, Equifax, TransUnion, or Credit Karma and have the fee waved entirely! I'm currently on a month to month lease as would you be. No smoking tobacco on the property.
