We are an elderly (62+) and/or disabled, affordable low income housing apartment complex in Lynden, WA. Qualified applicants may receive rental assistance from the USDA-Rural Development program or Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC) Tax Credit program at time of move-in. At this time, we do not have any vacancies in either of our 1- or 2-bedroom units. We strongly encourage interested parties to pre-apply and submit a waitlist application. Once a completed application is received, we will add your name to our waitlist. As soon as a unit becomes available, we will process waitlist applicants in the order their application was received. 12-month initial lease, renews annually. Qualified residents must be over the age of 62 and/or disabled. There is an income limit based on size of household as well. We are a low-income housing complex subsidised by the USDA-Rural Development (RD) program and Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC). Annual recertification to determine housing subsidy is required. Due to funding programs and Federal Housing requirements, apartments are inspected frequently each year. We charge an application fee (at time of available unit) equal to our cost to perform the applicant screening ($13.11 as of 1/1/2025) Landlord pays water, sewer, and trash. Tenant pays electricity. Utility assistance is available to qualified residents through PSE's HELP Program. We do not accept Reusable Tenant Screening reports due to the nature of our funding and application process. Our screening criteria is determined by the USDA.
