    Very large apartment in the historic Stephen D. Hall House at 85 Park Street, one of the premier addresses in Portland. Neighboring properties include the Victoria Mansion. The building is closer to the Old Port than any other high-end street in the West End, though the street itself is quiet and serene. This address is two and a half blocks from the Portland Museum of Art and State Theater, and one and a half blocks off Congress St. This two bedroom apartment is an incredibly bright, newly updated two bedroom with high ceilings in the two large bedrooms, one of which has a large closet. There are windows on three sides of the building. It's hard to show the layout of the living room, which is very long, has a bar/pass-through to the kitchen, and has an elevated platform in front of the two large windows. The living room is easily large enough to have a full dining area on one side, full living area on the other, and an office space or kids' play space on the platform. Alternately, with a narrow dining table, the platform would make an outstanding dining venue. The kitchen and bathroom are tiled in marble with all new, high end appliances and fixtures. Third-floor walk-up, though the first floor is up a fairly large granite stairway. Views from the living room are lovely but the sweeping view from the fire escape is truly one of the grandest in the city. Laundry room in the basement.
