We (the landlords) live onsite in the downstairs unit. We are a younger (early 30s) couple, working professionals, living with a cat. The unit has a glass-top electric stove, dishwasher, in-unit laundry, and a large walk-in closet. We have an EV charger that is available for tenants (at the cost of electricity). We are also willing to negotiate the use of some storage space in our garage, the use of our porch and yard (1 acre) for socializing and gardening, as well as the use of our sauna, which we expect to have installed by the spring. Hot and cold water and sewer are included, and there are two off-street parking spots. Tenants will pay for heat as part of their electric bill. We recently installed high-efficiency heat pumps and upgraded the insulation, so we expect heating costs to be less than $100/month during the heating season. The heat pumps also cool very economically in the summer. Cats are welcome, and possibly dogs (we would want to meet the dog). Since we live downstairs, we're looking for quiet, considerate, and friendly tenants (to match our own lifestyle). We don't smoke and will require no smoking in the apartment. We are leasing for 12 months and will require a one-month security deposit to be paid on signing, along with the first month's rent. The start date and lease period are negotiable.
