Hello, We are a family looking to share our home with someone who will appreciate the space as much as we do! A little about us... We don't wear our shoes indoors, and enjoy a clean space. We do have a cat and a dog, but no animals are allowed indoors. Your pet may be welcome, depending on how well everyone gets along while they are here. We might even be raising some rabbits or ducks in the near future! A little about the house... We have a luscious garden, with a pond in the backyard. We like to grow our own vegetables throughout the year, and have many fruit trees. We have a communal kitchen, dining room, living room, and study. We also have security cameras that cover all exits as well as street views, for the safety of everyone in our home. Although we have our own laundry on site, we do use a septic tank so we must all be mindful of what we flush in our toilets. We've got AC units throughout, with a fireplace in the living room for cozy winters. Plenty of street parking in front of the home with street cleaning on Thursdays and Fridays. A little about the neighborhood... We've got a local liquor store and CVS right around the corner, as well as a Vallarta across the street. We even have a donut shop a couple of blocks down! It's a pretty active community, with many people who enjoy going on walks in the evenings. We are also a five minute drive from CSUN (or a 30 minute jog, if you enjoy a good run). Each of us are dream driven and passionate about what we do. If you've got a dream you are working toward, this is the perfect nurturing environment for you. Please be prepared to cover a $25 background check as well as first/last month's rent before moving in. Utilities are not included with rent. Feel free to reach out if you would like to get a feel for the space, before you make any commitments. We also have another room available for $1,300 (253sq ft), which can be seen in the photos. Lease Terms include, but are not limited to: No smoking permitted indoors, although outside is okay. Street parking is available, with street cleaning on Thursdays and Fridays. Renters are responsible for keeping all communal spaces tidy on a regular basis (Monthly gardening and house maintenance will be included as part of utilities). The full lease terms will be outlined in the renter's agreement.
