Property is three or four houses from Sligo Creek trail. It's not too far from Long Branch trail. Street parking next to building is normally available. Near downtown Takoma Park, and Silver Spring. Ride-On bus service on the corner. Separate apartments and separate entrance from other two apartments in the building. Just over 1 mile from Takoma metro. Ride-On bus in front. Plenty of parking on street. Very pleasant site. Easy walking to shops at Piney Branch, Laundromats, pizza, Giant Food store. Enjoy the Takoma Park location, and the proximity to Silver Spring. Easy access to beltway 495 and 95, and DC. While the attic large room has three windows, and good space, the downstairs level has the proper (and legal!) two bedrooms (closets, bigger windows.) Security deposit is $1284. I require that you pay it to hold the apartment. It is not the same as the first or last month's rent. This is a non-smoking building. No sublets and no sub-assigning the lease allowed; no short term paid sublets either (i.e. paid couchsurfing, Airbnb, etc.) Stairs (one flight up to entrance, and the attic space is another level up.) There are no laundry facilities on premises Must pass credit check, costing $11 (conducted by Montgomery County), and must have good reference from previous landlords. One cat permitted with a previous landlord reference. Utilities included in monthly rent - heat is not separately metered Street parking You will be asked to obtain renters insurance. All Takoma Park leases do. In four summer months, if you choose to run tenant-provided air conditioning a $140 fee is required ($35/month) to defray electrical costs. (This is a Takoma Park law.)
