If you are looking for a large Taj Mahal palace, this is not the condo for you. But, if you want a reasonably priced and sized second-home get-a-way weekend and summer vacation resort condo for outdoors participation activities and don't expect to spend a lot of time indoors...this may just be what you are expecting. It is fully furnished and decorated to suit us, but it's not too large for a complete makeover to suit you for very little money if/when you want to do it. You get a lot for the HOA $365 monthly fee, too...100% exterior maintenance on a scheduled plan so the painting always looks good and the roof is tight against the elements. The grounds crew works year-round so all you have to do is enjoy the natural beauty. Woodson Bend Resort produces clean sanitary water and handles its own sewerage 24/7/365, daily garbage pick-up, along with paved roads, tennis courts, playgrounds, swimming pool and golf course. There is a community fitness facility and wired access for digital devices, along with a log cabin with covered eating space outdoor BBQ area maintained by the HOA. You won't have to worry about our property because you have 24/7/365 security officers at the front gate and patrolling the complex. Compare that to what you pay for these services at your primary home and it is a good deal. The only extra things you need to pay for is low cost electricity from SKRECC and any cable or satellite TV and internet service. If you boat, there is access to a proprietary boat dock, boat lift and storage garages for additional fees. Each condo is one-quarter of a building with adjacent paved parking. We paid to construct a paved golf cart storage unit under the building. We've seen 2 generations of kids and retirees enjoying the resort and their condos in 3 decades at The Bend. We expect you and your family will be the next to make new friends and be the next generation of wonderful days and years at Woodson Bend. It's all you make it to be...because everyday is a GREAT DAY at The Bend!
