The compound has everything we need to enjoy our life without ever leaving the property. 2-Everyday we walk to school. Both the elementary- and middle school are a short walk away. Both schools are amongst the best public schools in the country and we will greatly miss this. I love knowing my kids are so close to home even when they are at school. 3-The kids love playing at the sport court. Shooting hoops, riding their scooters. learning how to ride their bikes. There are too many wonderful memories here to list them all. Because the court is fully fenced even the littlest ones are safe. 4-Because the entire property is fully fenced, gated and even the pool area is fenced separately, our kids were always able to roam "free-range" and explore the beautiful gardens and hiking trails on property while we as parents had peace of mind that they will be safe on their adventures. 5-We installed The organic vegetable garden and orchard during the pandemic and our kids grew up gardening and tasting the fruits of their labor. The organic soil has an incredible yield and every year we grow more than we can eat and have plenty to share with our friends. 6-The massive 300 year old oak is like the fairy god mother of The Park. It cools our house and patio in the summer, it is home to an array of beautiful songbirds that nest in its ivy and the kids just love nothing more than flying to the sky in the giant swing. 7-The pool area has seen many parties as the set-up is simply ideal. The pool house has a kitchenette and full bath as well as a dry sauna and hook ups for washer and dryer. We always used the second poolhouse as a playroom where the kids would play when they got tired after cannonball number 100. In the fall we also love to admire the beautiful colors from the hottub while listening to the relaxing sound of the waterfall. 8-The Primary Suite space feels like being on vacation in a luxurious hotel and the two custom walk-in closets are a fashion lover's dream. 9-We built the Kitchen to be truly the heart of the house. The smart range has both gas, induction and even a built-in sous-vide. Preparing meals here with the bounty of the gardens while watching the children play in the backyard just fills my heart. In the spring and summer we open the giant bi-fold doors and bring the outside in. 10-Watching a movie in the Movie Room has always been a treat for our whole family. The incredible craftsmanship of the carpentry in this room continues to amaze us and makes the space so inviting we often snuggle up here to read as well. 11-In many houses, movie theatres, playrooms and gyms are stuck in dark basements void of natural light. At The Park, EVERY ROOM is above ground and EVERY window has an amazing view! Even the mudroom! 12-Between the two-Bedroom in-law apartment, and the additional ground floor guest suite there is space to host all our family for the holidays.
