Leafwood began its life 1n 1781 as an overseer's house and has been added to over the years. Dr. Muir bought this property in the early part of this century and had almost finished its restoration when he died. The present owners bought it in 2012 and have operated it as a B & B. Most of the present furnishing will stay with the house at no charge unless the Buyer doesn't want them. It has a a very charming Guest House as well as a number of other outbuildings. Saluda is a small village that serves as the county seat for Middlesex County. It is well located being close to the Bay, Williamsburg, Richmond, and not far from DC.
