By bike, it's 10 minutes to the stadium, 5 minutes to the library and downtown, 8 to Colorado College or Monument Valley trail. Via car it's 25 minutes to Ft Carson, 20 minutes to the airport, 15 minutes to Costco/Trader Joes or Peterson SFB and 5 to downtown. A local cafe 'Switchback Coffee' is just around the corner and under a minute away however you choose to get there. We really enjoyed the walkability while we lived here. Lease: The house is available starting June 1st for a yearly lease with the possibility of renewal at the same rate. Very good credit, good references, clean background check and proof employment are a must. A June 15th or August 1st start for a well-qualified tenant on a multi-year lease is also possible. We can tailor the terms of the lease to align with employment offers ( e.g. military orders for 2-4 years or visiting professor positions). Smoking of any kind, use as a short term vacation rental, or marijuana cultivation are not permitted. Pets of good character are possible on a limited case-by-case basis with an additional refundable deposit of $400 per pet. A safety deposit of $3000 and the first month's rent are due at signing.
