Neighborhood Description Samish Hill is a hilly, residential neighborhood located at the southern end of Bellingham. The neighborhood still maintains much of its original rural character from the past, but it is experiencing new residential growth like many areas of Bellingham. Housing in the neighborhood varies. Most of the older homes in this neighborhood were built adjacent to Samish Way, the main entrance into the city before I-5 was constructed.
