    An earthen home in the woods feels like something drawn from a dream rooted in nature, and deeply connected to the Earth itself. This home was made using many natural building materials like clay, straw, wood, and stone. The various skylights let in an abundance of natural light, the intricate wood stove heat the dwellings on the coldest of days, and the daylight basement is the perfect escape on those triple digit days. The lake is just up the road, as well as many other outdoor attractions. The property itself sits up overlooking the surrounding pine hills, providing a serene experience through the seasons. It is predominantly scrub oak Savanah that has green leaves throughout the summer and is only a few minutes from an amazing swimming hole on the river. There are two structures on the property, with the main house being rented out and our family lives in the adjacent structure. We provided a lot of the country maintenance. If you have wanted to live in the country, but find that the responsibilities associated with it our overwhelming, this would be a great opportunity to be out in the countryside without being on your own. There is a garden in front of the home for tenant use. As well as 5000 gallons of collected rainwater. All fire season maintenance will be taken care of, the road is rustic, but maintained, and we are open to working out most other situations. We do have an abundance of animals on the property, including dogs, goats, pigs, chickens, and koi fish. The kitchen has a gas range and a double oven with two sinks and a large counter great for hosting friends. When the fire place is going in the winter, there is an amazing brick pizza oven. The view out the master bedroom French doors are absolutely breathtaking, stepping out onto a large porch with seating and sunshades. After years of hosting on Air BnB we are looking for steady tenants so that we can focus more on our family, but also provide an experience with a blend of being a landlord and a host. The lease terms will include tenant paying for electricity. Gas, water maintenance, and disposal services are covered by property owners. Pets are negotiable as long as there is a clear effective plan to manage them. There are several animals already on the property, and the dogs are not always friendly with other dogs. Permitting pets will require a clear agreement. The House is built of straw bale, which provides a unique earthen experience. We live in a similar structure on the property. I will be happy to assist new tenants on learning to work with the house. Outdoor smoking is okay in certain areas. Full Contract provided at signing.
