Hope to see you there! DETAILS: Do, you need a place to live? Well it turns out I have a place that needs someone to live in it. Kind of a cool confluence when you think about it. But the question remains, is this somewhere you want to live? Well read on and find out. About the place The house for rent has three bedrooms all on one level, 1 bathroom, an attached garage, a covered back patio and an enormous back yard. Hardwoods throughout, a dining space with a slider to the yard. The back yard has more than enough room for your furry friend, and a garden that get's lots of sun if you have a green thumb... AND if you have a green thumb, then this yard is for you. Also it is the perfect back yard for summer BBQ's complete with covered patio. It has a washer/dryer and YES, central AC (central heat too, but that's kind of a no-brainer). As you can see from the pictures from 2016 most of the rooms have been painted, but if you don't like the colors you're welcome to paint. The garage hasn't really been used for cars, mostly as a storage space or art studio as it is pretty clean and nicely painted- but you are welcome to park there. Why to live here (or not, given that I don't know what you, my hypothetical tenant, likes). The house is in a good quiet street in SE Portland (further than city center but not too far) you're close to Woodstock, Reed College, and Foster with all they have to offer. It is 4 blocks from the better part of 82nd Ave and you could walk/bike/drive to a Trader Joes, Food Carts, Fred Meyer and the MAX within a few minutes. It's a 5-minute drive to Clackamas town center, and a 20 minute drive to downtown. Also, it is close to the 205 freeway but not too close. If you like to bike or jog you can walk to the spring water corridor 1/2 a block away. There is a food cart pod just around the corner, Cartlandia that has become really popular. 1 friendly dog is okay/negotiable, there is a refundable $250 per pet deposit in addition to the refundable $1300 deposit. The lot is HUGE, and fully fenced. I pay for garbage but the power, water, heat, cable, etc are paid by tenant. Feel free to garden, plant, and make it your own... just check in with me first before any big changes. That being said, this yard is big does need some mowing/weeding/care so if you are okay with a bit of yard work, then this will work out just fine. I have a newer electric lawnmower there for you if you don't have one. It will be expected of you to keep the yard looking decent: weeded and grass cut REGULARLY. We know it is a reasonable price to pay for the awesome yard, and well, you'd only have to mow during growing season here which is typically April-July!! More photos coming soon.
