I'm looking to sublease my one bed, one bathroom premises from 5/31/25 - 7/31/25, the end date of my lease. The property is located in a great place, just a 10-minute walk from the UIC campus and the pink line. A perfect choice for someone going to UIC, or working in the nearby medical district. The spacious bedroom is on the first floor of a two-story house. As can be seen in the picture, there is a door leading directly to the backyard. This is my favorite feature of the room. You will get a key for both doors of the bedroom, nobody else in the house has this key but the landlord. In this way, you almost have your own little house. Multiple windows in the room lead to great lighting. The closet is quite large, having much more space than I ever needed. The heating/AC in the house is also excellent. Right outside the room is your own bathroom. Next to the bathroom is the shared washer/dryer and kitchen. There are three other tenants living on the second story. They are highly respectful people, and my experiences living with them have been very good. The landlord is also excellent. The property is owned by a husband/wife duo. When something breaks, the husband is there within two hours to fix it, like clock work. They go out of their way to make your experience pleasant. There is also an optional $50/month parking spot right outside the backyard. Note that the square footage shown is not at all accurate. Zillow made me put a number in. Sublease from 5/31/25 - 7/31/25 Option to sign a lease with my landlord at the end of the sublease on 7/31/25. The maximum price I have paid for utilities is $130 during the winter. During the summer, the utilities were around $90/month. You split the water, electric, gas, and internet bills evenly with the other tenants.
