The monthly rent of $2400 includes all utilities, even high-speed Internet. This historic carriage house is located in the middle of the quiet Fall Creek neighborhood in downtown Ithaca, two blocks from Fall Creek Elementary school. During the academic year our apartments are filled mostly with hard-working Cornell doctoral students, and during the summer we normally provide 5-star vacation rentals for travelers visiting Ithaca or the surrounding areas. This home is fully furnished for luxury vacation rentals, including a fully equipped kitchen. We provide a large washing machine and dryer in our basement for tenants free use, and we even provide the soap! Apartment A has 3 bedrooms. The office has a futon. We have ceiling fans in nearly every room, and multiple window air conditioner units are installed for hot days. We pay for the electricity. There is a full bath and a half bath, and a family room that separates the upstairs bedrooms. Apartment A was designed to be my own home when I lived at 811 N. Tioga St. I like wood, and we created all kinds of unusual wood features in this warm and homey abode. The kitchen-living-dining room is 40 feet long, with wood flooring, wood-covered walls, and wood shelves and beams.
