First homesteaded in the late 1800s, Garlands grew from the first building in 1908 to the pristine 5,000 foot elevation retreat that it is today. The main lodge is built of hand- hewn timbers, has a massive stone fireplace as its centerpiece and a fully operational restaurant for 50 guests.There are 16 cozy guest cabins, two year-round residences, employee quarters, a fast-drying clay tennis court and creek side yoga and pilates pavilion. Oak Creek runs for ¼ mile alongside the property. The 10 acre property is surrounded by thousands of years of red rock geology and the majestic pines of the Coconino Forest.
