The house is 1/4-mile from a grocery store, gas station and a few restaurants, a mile from a movie theater and a large shopping center, and 1.5 mile south of Highway 540 at Six Forks Road. The house is on relatively level property, just above a hill for the rest of the neighborhood, so you can get out of the driveway and the road when there is snow and ice on the ground. There are several ponds nearby, within 5 miles of several nature parks, about 1/2 mile from entrance to the Greenway trail. Foxwood Drive has single-family homes in various styles (one- and two-story); most were built in the mid-1980s. The surrounding streets include new construction with a mix of larger homes, attached ranches, and townhomes. The area is known as "Lead Mine" and it has an excellent reputation in the real-estate market.
