Charming Historical Cabin built in 1785. Cabin was hand-hewn from the forest B4 electricity & built in TN. In 1985 it was rediscovered & carefully taken apart, moved to a lovely country lot across from Stekoa Creek just south of Clayton, GA. The cabin was then reconstructed w/the addition of a large country kitchen, bathroom & laundry room. Half story loft was added that accommodates 2 "BR" & a half bath as well as a very large screened porch. There are 2 working fireplaces. The bedroom has a soul hole which was common to Scotch/Irish cabins of this vintage,(a person's soul could then move on when life left the body) There is a Rifle Port so that the home could be defended in case of danger.
