This location is perfect as a Prepper Place, as it happens to be on the east side of the Continental Divide behind 3 tall mountains that would dissipate a wall of radioactivity coming from California or Arizona. The "Top Secret" I mentioned earlier is that in Joel M Skousen's book - "Strategic Relocations" is that New Mexico only has a two star prepper rating as far as the States are concerned so it is NOT promoted as a "Prepper Area", BUT there is one sentence in the chapter on New Mexico, where he states on page 235, "To find safe places in New Mexico, one has to carefully locate away from the major population centers, the nuclear targets and the hostile zone with Mexico. Generally, that leaves the far northern area and the mountains bordering Arizona", where this property is.
