We cannot accommodate stays with fewer nights. Our rental will be thoroughly deep-cleaned and sanitized prior to your arrival. As a thirty-night minimum stay, Terrace Cottage is fully legal under Asheville's ordinances. Experience a classic, private, Arts & Crafts-style guesthouse in our beautiful Historic District close to the center of Asheville. All linens and other amenities including HDCATV are provided so just bring your groceries- and your laptop for the dedicated Ubiquiti Access Point WI-FI, ideal for Zoom meetings, gaming and more. Please note the second bed is a full-size sofabed in the front room, the cottage accommodates up to four guests. There is a fee for overnight visitors not booked as guests and arrangements will be made with the hosts, thanks. The cottage is very private and comfortable, situated in a quiet location in our safe and friendly neighborhood. Nice walk to downtown Asheville along tree-lined streets with great markets and restaurants along the way. Walk to the university, botanical gardens, parks and greenways. Green-built with 2x6" walls and cellulose insulation, deep eaves and window placements designed for energy retention, Terrace Cottage received it's Certificate of Occupancy from The City of Asheville in 2000. Every effort was made to blend our cottage into the historic neighborhood and we have hosted many guests posting rave reviews on rental sites since opening. Enjoy a real cook's kitchen with all cookware and dining ware provided, tiled bathroom, sunny deck, closet storage and locking storage for bikes and strollers. Laundry is below the second-story cottage. We are the original owners and builders of the cottage and our residence is on the property. Knowledgeable about area entertainment, cultural and recreation opportunities, we are glad to provide helpful information... otherwise we'll protect your privacy! A quick twenty minutes drive from our airport with shuttle service available, and the bus line is one block distance running on the hour. Blue Ridge Parkway entrance is a ten minute drive and our celebrated trout streams, hiking trails and the Smokies offer excellent day trips. Welcome to Terrace Cottage in Asheville! We provide an emailed standard contract for review and signing. A signed contract and deposit secures your dates on the calendar, a 30-day minimum is required. There is NO SMOKING on the property. Dedicated parking is provided for two vehicles maximum, we cannot accommodate trailers or RV's. Utilities, WiFi and CATV and all bed, bath and kitchen linens ARE INCLUDED so compare "apples to apples" when pricing rentals online! Please adjust the heat or AC when you are out and be mindful of water usage so we can keep our costs down for our guests, thanks!
