Other, simpler, features include the extremely well maintained wood clapboard and shingle siding, window trim, front doorway, and granite foundation. **The Preservation Easement' protects the exterior of all the buildings. It protects the interior of only the Cape building, allowing for renovations and upgrades in the rest of the House and the Barn. A 'Conservation Easement' on the Field prevents it from being developed.
