The house was built in 2020 and occupied for a year by my mother. It is offered unfurnished or partially furnished. The yard is shared with six people living in the larger house. The yard was pretty impacted by the construction of this house, so there is plenty of opportunity for replanting around the new house. There is also room for food gardening. I would welcome someone who is enthusiastic about caring for the entire yard in exchange for rent credit. The north and southbound #4 bus stops are just around the corner on Albina Ave, 200' from the front door. The east and westbound #72 bus stops are just three tenths of a mile away on Killingsworth Ave. Both of these are frequent service lines. The Yellow Line Max rail north and southbound stations are six tenths of a mile away on Interstate Avenue. Nearby north/south bicycle routes are the designated bicycle route and greenway 600' (two blocks) to the west on Michigan Avenue and broad bike lanes 1000' to the east on Vancouver and Williams streets. An east/west bike route passes by just 500' to the south on Blandena St. The Alberta exit/entrance from/to Interstate 5 is 1000' away. Nearby parks include an open field one block to the east that is associated with Jefferson High School but completely open to the public. There is a small park three blocks to the north on Albina Ave next to Cherry Sprout Produce. The Rose Garden in Peninsula Park begins six tenths of a mile to the north on Albina Ave. The nearest coffee shop and food carts are 500' away. The nearest bar is quite close and you will hear it on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights if you open your windows. There are many more food carts, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and shops within a five minute walk to the north on Killingsworth St. and to the south on Mississippi Avenue, and even more within a mile on Vancouver & Williams Streets, to the southeast, and Interstate Ave. to the west. The Alberta Arts District begins one mile to the east. 12 month lease or longer
