The open concept kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances is fully equipped for the chef. Oversized sectional sofa with reclining chairs also includes a full size sofa. Master bedroom is a king bed with en-suite, separate vanity, and includes a nook overlooking the canal with a table and chair for a place to read or work. The second bedroom has a nautical theme and includes a queen bed plus twin bunk beds. Second full size bathroom is in the hallway. Amenities at Sandpiper above include 1,100' of private beach access, 5 pools (2 heated), 3 hot tubs, 9 hole par 3 golf course, pickleball and tennis courts, and so much more! The private beach access is about a 5 minute walk from the condo, or you can drive and park closer. One of Destin's best restaurants, Louisiana Lagniappe, is located in Sandpiper Cove too for excellent water front dining. Other information: Stacked washer and dryer available in the unit. There is also an on-site coin operated laundry facility. Parking for 2 vehicles is included. First floor unit but there are 6 stairs at the entrance to get to the front door. Boat slips on the canal can be reserved for a fee through the HOA. There is a boat launch, but boat trailers cannot be kept at Sandpiper Cove and will require offsite storage to be arranged. Sandpiper Cove and the city of Destin have very active snowbird communities. Daily events offered in January and February.
