Application Process
- An Open House will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 on Sunday January 22, 2023 for viewing of the unit. Applications will be distributed at that time. If you prefer that an application be emailed to you, send an email with "Application Request" in the subject line. Please carefully review below the timing for acceptance of applications.
- Per PCC 30.01.086 (the FAIR Ordinance), the Open Application Period will begin and applications will be accepted beginning at 2:00 on Monday January 23, 2023 (no earlier than 72 hours from first posting of this advertisement). Applications will be accepted via email (beth_stanton at comcast dot net) and processed in the order received. Any application submitted prior to the aforementioned start time will be designated as received eight (8) hours after the start of the Open Application Period.
- The application will provide space and opportunity for an applicant to include supplemental evidence to mitigate potentially negative screening results.
- We may require up to five business days to verify information on an application.
- If we are unable to verify information on an application, the application may be denied.
Complete Application
- Each resident of the property over the age of 18 must submit an individual application.
- We will not review incomplete applications.
- We will comply with the city of Portland's FAIR Ordinance.
- A complete application must include payment of a $35 screening fee, payable by check, cash or Venmo.
Screening Guidelines and Rental Criteria
Identification
- All applicants must provide a combination of one or more of the following documents to verify the name, date of birth, and photographic identity of each applicant: driver's license, government issued identification, evidence of a social security number, valid green card, immigrant visa, evidence of an ITIN number, non-immigrant visa, and/or any non-governmental identification or combination thereof that would permit reasonable verification of identity.
Prior Rental History
- Three years rental history applicant must provide contact info in order to verify.
- Exceptions may be made for applicants with qualified co-signers or increased deposits/payments
- Residence history must be verifiable from unbiased/unrelated sources
Sufficient Income/Resource
- Net household income shall be a minimum of 2.5 times the rent (excluding utilities).
- Three years employment history applicant must provide contact info in order to verify.
