This is a beautiful, upscale, quiet and zero-crime neighborhood. It is an ideal place to raise a family. There is an excellent elementary school within walking distance, and the town has newly remodeled middle and high schools as well. While the neighborhood itself is tucked away from high traffic areas, and perfect for kids to ride around on bikes with wide forested roads and paths all around, a 15 minute car trip will get you to any kind of mall, store, movie theater, restaurant or business you want. New York City is roughly 1 hour away by car and many people commute daily for work by car, carpool, vanpool or train. Most houses in the area are owned by second or third home owners in their middle age, perhaps 40-55 years. You will need a car to live here, as the area is nestled well into a sub-urban environment, the lots and houses fairly large in size, and there are no commercially zoned areas for at least a five minute car ride or so (no cars to run over your children and low speed limits.)
