We are three guys looking for a roommate to share our house in the Columbia Heights neighborhood. It is located five blocks to the Columbia Heights Metro Stop and seven blocks to U Street. Seven minute walk to the new Whole Foods! The first floor has large living and dining rooms that are newly painted. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, and plenty of cabinet space. Off of the kitchen, there is a backyard that can be used for grilling and lounging around the fire pit. There is also a full first floor bathroom just off of the kitchen. The basement which has a private bathroom, living room, and kitchenette area is available. It's a huge space (some would call it a "mother-in-law suite"). The three other roommates live upstairs, but we generally keep the door open as we're all very friendly with one another. If you are unfamiliar with the area, this location is walkable to some of the best spots in the city! Minutes away from the many Columbia Heights, U St. and Petworth shops, bars and restaurants such as Wet Dog, Hook Hall, and Wonderland. The room is available for move-in September 1. It is $1,400 per month to rent - all utilities included (even a full cable/ internet package). There is parking available on the street with a zone 1 permit. Very easy to get with a DC license. A little about the housemates - we're all young professionals in our mid to late 20s. We're looking for a roommate who wants a clean, social, and all around comfortable atmosphere to call home. We're not a big party house, but will have people over every now and then to hang out, watch some football/ basketball/ hockey, or grill and play cornhole in the backyard.
