The vineyard is one of the few in VA and NC not planted in clay but shale,with the result that their VA Wine is unique and true to the Italian heritage.There is a wood -fired brick oven for special-events weekends, and an Italian music garden for relaxation and entertainment The Winery was built in 1994 and is on 3 levels Ground floor w/ 14 ft ceilings concrete there is a 2100 sf production and barrel storage basement level with a loading concrete dock area The tank room is 700 sq.ft and has stainless steel tank storage capacity of about 8000 gals.There is also a 350 sq.ft lab area and a bonded storage room 350 sq.ft Barrel storage is an additional 750 sq.ft First Floor Consists of 3 areas each 750 sq.ft.Outdoor, Tasting and Food area Also included upstairs is a residence with a separate entry.
