It is not a typical colonial style. Everyone who enters our home loves the very unique layout from the foyer entrance and ability to see several room locations and steps going upstairs. Since we bought it I've made tons of updates but not limited to...such as gutting both full bathrooms upstairs. The one is a multi shower with a tiled seat. The other one has the newer "Kohler Air Jet bathtub" with various speeds/bubbles. Automatically comes on if wet and drying feature. Prevents any inside air hole molding! 3/4 bathrooms even have new toilets installed. Had all new attic insulation installed. That could be made into a room as well. We also completely finished the huge 2 room basement that has a door to the back room to close for privacy. 2 exits; one to garage and one to outside underneath the deck. We have tons of Windows. 7 entry ways NOT including the 2 garages. Wrap around huge back deck with "Bob" the tree that comes through the middle of it. Everyone's favorite. Front porch with double doors above the garage; steps up to it and can enter through the family room with double French doors directly across just newly refinished and stained from family room that leads to the back deck. Opening into kitchen as well as as natural brick and window (no glass from it being a former addition). So many windows throughout the first floor with a bay window facing front in the kitchen. 4 ways to go outside to the back deck and 2 doors to the front. Garages make it 4. This location is not the main entry. Wooded area. We had an Amish built beautiful shed with Windows, double doors on the side, front door, side and front windows with plant holders and inside a work area/table and a loft along with a tin roof. 2 garages with a driveway that can fit 4 vehicles 6 vehicle space total. Tons and tons of storage space. Hardwood floors (sanded and refinished) in all rooms except basement (carpeted) and bathrooms which are tiled. Installed 2 new garage doors! Installed a state of the Art ADT system features in every room including the laundry room. Basement lasers; every floor wired for window breaking and doors opening. Also tons of closets. A new heater, water heater and now dishwasher being installed. Bottom line; a beautiful home that my kids adore and 5 minute walking distance at most to the elementary school Howe in Mt. Lebanon school district! Basement could easily be turned into an apartment as well. Also while private corner lot it's about a 5-10 minute walk to our "T" subway that is minutes from downtown and super easy commute to the city. Many people on our street use it everyday. Huge perk for people working in or around the city as well as going to south hills village and other areas. I’ve raised 3 happy children in this home.
