We are close to highways, as well as in one of the most sought after school districts. Many parks and trails are just a short walk away. We know all our surrounding neighbors, and they are all very friendly and personable. It is a very safe neighborhood with lots of walkers, joggers, families and children. Oceanview is a very tight knit community where everyone watches out for everyone else. The things we especially love about this house: Our morning coffee on the deck with the views of the ocean, movies with family and friends in the movie theatre with some homemade popcorn, large open kitchen which is great for entertaining, RV and boat parking in the yard, lots of organic raspberry bushes that come back every year along the fence between us and our next door neighbors to the left, lots of space and storage throughout the house, and a spacious corner lot. There are a lot more to mention but these are definitely our favorites. Recent updates to this house: new furnace in 2013, MIL Apartment remodel in 2014, new water heater in 2017, bamboo flooring downstairs in 2017, new Stain Master bedroom carpet in Master Bedroom 2017, cold shield window covers (window insulation panels) in 90% of the house, kitchen and master bathroom remodels in 2017. The tenant in the MIL apartment loves the apartment and the neighborhood. He has been with us for over 3 years, and would like to stay if possible. He is quiet, neat, always pays on or before the 1st with its own revenue stream towards the home. All utilities including internet and cable are covered with his rent. He is like family, and without a doubt, you will love him as much as we do. We have loved living in this home, but our last child has recently moved out and we are downsizing. We have made amazing memories here, and absolutely know the new homeowners will do so as well!
