This place was built in 1947, out of cinder-block. It definitely has character. There are two neighbors, one on each side. Each is mellow and has lived there since 2016 (?). (These are all three individual houses; they do NOT share any walls with Unit A- the main house.) No drugs, no drama here....and that's how I aim to keep it! Parking (unfortunately) is only the driveway. I'm not able to put a garage there. I live out-of-state, so do need a local property management company to show, and give keys etc. I have been using Coldwell Banker. Their hours are 9-5, M-F. The ladies there are all fabulous; they treat all my tenants with respect. I know they require a credit score above 600, no evictions, and have income requirements too. But to ME (owner) the most important thing is a strong rental history. Also, we love pups and kitties, but now there must be pet rent; $25 per pet. (I wish I could just collect AND REFUND a deposit, but I'm told the latest law is NO pet deposits; you can only charge pet rent. GRRR.) I do enjoy getting the Zillow apps. Although they help me sift through applicants, the ONLY app that MATTERS will be the Coldwell Banker app for $40. (If and when we chat, I'll tell you if I think it's going to be worth the $40 each for you.) Feel free to call or text (yes even nights or weekends). Thanks for looking Susan ;) Rarely open, but coming soon! This house is unusual in that it's quite close to town and has a large fenced backyard and separate meters for gas/electric/water. If you're tired of the usual stucco/drywall that most places (including mine!) are built with, this vintage place from the century BEFORE last, that may speak to you. This gem was built from brick (or cinder-block?) in 1947. Large fenced backyard with trees, and washer/dryer hookups on the back patio. THE DOWNSIDES are: 1) two bedrooms are rather SMALL and 2) NO GARAGE; only a shared driveway. Upside is nice long term neighbors; Unit B is on the left (looks like a garage; you'd share the driveway with that tenant) then Unit C is on the right. Trash is paid by owner. Gas/water/electric is paid by tenant. You're welcome to drive by, but PLEASE DON'T DISTURB MY TENANTS! I often receive the apps through Zillow and always read them, so that I'm informed. But the only app that will count is the one you would turn into Coldwell Banker. If we chat and it sounds like this is a fit, you can always tour it before you decide to put the application in. Thanks for looking and feel free to text or call. Susan Spurr ;)
