Mr. Jack Finn and his bride Alma (she worked at the old post office down the road), were given this house, built by her father in 1928 with the help of WPA workers. Local timber in the frame, and local sand and pebble in the stairs and walkway .Lovely memories of a quieter way of life on these 2.6 acres. The house is a ???????rock??????? and doesn????????t ever lose its power during a hurricane, when inside you cannot hear or sense life outside, so peaceful it remains.
