I currently accepted a job offer and plan to move in the next couple of weeks, so I am looking for someone to sublet my apartment to through August with an option to sign their own lease starting in September. The move in date is flexible but preferably no later than April 1st. This is a great apartment, and I am sad that I must give it up. It is the perfect starter apartment for someone who plans to live on their own and the location is GREAT. You will not find a cheaper studio this close to downtown Princeton. It is located a block away from Nassau with access to tons of restaurants, bars, shops, and the local movie theater. The apartment is also a short walk to Palmer Square. It is in a safe and quiet neighborhood. You'll also be in walking distance of Princeton University, Westminster Choir College, the public library, and coffee shops, so it is an ideal apartment for a student. The apartment was recently painted and had new flooring put in. It looks great, receives incredible sunlight, and has exposed brick in the kitchen. The apartment consists of three rooms: bedroom/livingroom with closet, Kitchen, and bathroom. You also have access to a shared deck area with a nice view and a large back yard. Gas and water are included in rent. Gas includes heating and the gas stove/oven. That's right! You will not have a skyrocketing gas bill in winter as gas is included! As for electric, my bill has never exceeded $13/month since I've lived here. The apartment can also receive highspeed FIOS internet. Unfortunately, there is no off-street parking if you have a car. You can, however, park on the street, but you need to get a parking permit from the town to park overnight. You will need to pass a credit check before the landlord will agree to rent to you, so make sure you are in good standing and could afford the 1400 per month rent.
