We purchased our home in September of 2015 & although our home was built in 1971, in 2016 the steps to have it completely gutted began. It was re-insulated (including interior walls for noise reduction), completely rewired & updated (although we chose not to have a dishwasher and garbage disposal, we had it wired for those items should we change our minds later), a second full bathroom built in the master bedroom, Milgard windows installed little by little throughout the home, the pantry as well as the kitchen (which has custom cabinetry newly built in 2018) expanded in size (we installed a stainless steel utility sink in the pantry), new flooring and carpet installed, and all of this completed by the end of 2018! In March of 2019 we installed solar panels on the roof of the second story, the first story roof was replaced in early 2016 and the second story roof replaced in the beginning of 2019. On the home property, an 8' high, 10'x10' rabbit cottage was built in the Summer of 2018 to house rabbits and feed as well as a 10'x15' greenhouse built in the Summer of 2018. The home itself sits on 3 1/2 acres although across the road, still on Pyle Road sits 1/2 an acre commercially zoned fenced piece of property with no buildings on it at the moment. And we are not done yet for there is still so much more to come in 2019 and beyond!
